Grief & Loss Counseling
There’s no right way or right timeline to grieve. You don’t have to walk through it alone.
Every loss is real
Grief can follow many kinds of loss:
- The death of a spouse, parent, child or friend
- Divorce or the end of a relationship
- Losing your health, a job, a home or a long-held dream
- A loss other people don’t seem to understand
How counseling can help
Counseling gives you a safe, unhurried place to talk, to remember, and to feel what you feel without being rushed. Together we look at how you are coping day to day and what support would help.
Grief can also bring hard questions for people of faith. Those questions are welcome here. If you’d like, scripture and prayer can be part of our time together.
“Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.”
How to get started
Call me at 704-535-2224 for a free 15-minute phone consultation, or email darylehineslpc@gmail.com. We’ll talk briefly about what’s going on and whether I’m the right fit for you. There are no forms to fill out online.
Sessions are 50 minutes, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, in person at my office in Mint Hill or by telehealth if you live in North Carolina. The fee is $140 per session, and I provide superbills for insurance. See fees and insurance.
